and maintain the Karachi Thatta Dual Carriage Way.

About Us

Karachi Thatta Construction and Management (Private) Limited was incorporated on April 30, 2015 with the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). The main objective of the Company was to construct the Karachi – Thatta Dual Carriageway (KTDC) on Design, Finance, Build, Operate and Transfer (DFBOT) Mode for a period of 27 years (25 Years Maintenance + 2 Years Construction).

The formal Concession Agreement (CA) in this regard was signed by and between Works and Services Department GoS and Karachi Thatta Construction and Management (Private) Limited on May 07, 2015.

Karachi Thatta Dual Carriageway

The scope of this project is limited to developing a 49.5 km dualized road from Ghaghar Phattak to
Makli bypass.

Objective Statement

The build of KTDC project on stretch of (49.185 Km) enables opening of new corridor for the development of the area incorporating promotion of business activity in economic zones within the project area and enhancement of operational efficiency due to new road corridor that results in improved traffic conditions. The project is also aimed to improve safety and reliability for the users along a key commuting road with the advantage of reduced travelling time.
